Payment analytics

Payment analytics for iGaming: deposits, withdrawals and PSPs.

I measure where deposits fail, why withdrawals stall, what each PSP really costs and which players stop depositing, and I set up alerts that flag an acceptance drop while it is happening. The work runs on the data and PSPs you already have.

Useful questions

Move from a top-line rate to the reason behind the change.

  • Where do deposits fail: which method, PSP, country, BIN range or brand?
  • How long do withdrawals take, and where do they pile up as pending?
  • What does each PSP cost per successful deposit once fees and declines are counted?
  • Which first-time depositors never deposit again, and is a payment problem behind it?
  • Are payments, finance and CRM using the same definitions and time windows?

Definitions first

How acceptance, approval and decline rates are measured.

There is no single industry definition of acceptance rate. One PSP counts only authorised attempts, another counts every click on the deposit button, and your back office counts credited deposits.

Before any analysis I write down which attempts count, how retries and duplicate attempts are handled, and when a deposit counts as successful: approved by the PSP or credited to the player balance. Decline codes are grouped the same way across PSPs, so a soft decline at one provider is compared with a soft decline at another.

Packages

Two packages for payments data.

Both run on your existing data. The work does not provide payment processing, gateway or orchestration infrastructure, fraud detection or AML transaction monitoring.

Payments & Player Analysis

One focused question, such as deposit conversion, declines, withdrawal times, PSP cost, player cohorts or retention, answered in euros with the SQL and Python behind every number.

€900–1,800

PSP & KPI Alerts

Automated checks on acceptance and declines per PSP, method and country, pending withdrawals, deposits or GGR, with alerts in Slack, Teams or email and a message when the metric recovers.

€400–700 + €60–100/month

Relevant work

Three payment systems built for visibility, monitoring and repeatable reporting.

Dashboard / BI

Cross-Brand Payment Monitoring Dashboard

A shared view of payment performance that makes cross-brand differences visible and helps teams narrow an investigation before moving into transaction detail.
